Your guide will share some of that history with you, and it's also a great spot for photographs if you'd like to hop out for a closer look.

Kensington Palace started life as a small country house called Nottingham House before King William III and Queen Mary II turned it into a royal residence in 1689.
It's perhaps best known as the birthplace of Queen Victoria in 1819. She spent her childhood here and was just 18 when she learned that she had become Queen.
The palace was also home to Diana, Princess of Wales, and remains a working royal residence today. With more than 300 years of royal history, it's a great addition to our Royal London Taxi Tour.
